Michael D’s house (92 degrees in the shade)
In this the zero level session for Michael’s new forever dm world the following took place.
The characters built relationships with one another. They discovered what they knew about Rusty. They gained some siblings, adopted, found, and born. They learned to sail and fish. And as each of them aged, strange changes began to occur to their bodies.
Rusty discovered a large and rigid mechanical penis that that could be removed from a trap door in his abdomen. Rusty taught them a whole new language, and he learned the language of his new family. Though everyone who learned to speak the Fae Kin language from Rusty tends to unknowingly accent the language in such a way that hints at cerebral discussions about the nature of life and existence.
Simon got all funny bunny. His mother took to combing his long hairy ears back against his head to make them look more hare-like (get it?). He is the quickest to learn Rusty’s language. He is also just the quickest in general.
Akuma took to dissecting animals to see how life worked, and discovered he could stop them from dying after he vivisected them. It was not uncommon to see little fogs and birds with y-shaped scars across their chests roaming near the family home. When he wasn’t torturing animals for science, he spent hours counting the countless filaments in the skyarch.
Xentia took to sneaking around and studying the recently traumatized animals her younger brother “played” with, and found that after studying their mannerisms, she could mimic a lot of their behavior. For some reason, her early attempts at disguising her face to look more animal-like always made other animals believe she was in tremendous pain.
Frezuli spent a lot of time playing with fire. His shoulders itched a lot. Sometimes he’d find his brother’s poor tortured animal friends and would put them out of their misery. This usually took the form of smashing them with a large enough rock they they died instantly, cutting their throats so they would bleed out painlessly, feeding them berries that made them sleep so that they would die of thirst before they woke. And then after they were dead, he’d burn them, because… you know… fire is cool, right? Dave
Solmeg and Voe married at first just to keep the family together and to offer protection to Voe, but eventually they developed a love for one another and they had three more children. The fraternal twins Iohet (boy) and Sif (girl), and a daughter named Wistia.
Ondle was not welcome at home anymore.
Solmeg taught the children to sail and fish. They built a new house atop the bluff and stairs that lead up to the top from the beach for quick access in case of another wave.
Then one night during the annual meteor shower, another giant meteor streaked across the sky. This one from South to north. No wave followed, but the family was pretty freaked out for a while.
Ondel showed up a few days later and yelled at Solmeg for not lighting the signal fire. Ondel tried reminded him that a large falling star herald the first invasion of the Umbral Bound Legion, but Solmeg was convinced the Umbral Bound would never return. He said, “rocks fall from the sky all the time. So often, in fact that they created a religion around those occurrences.”
Ondel leaves.
A month and a half later, a malaise falls upon the group at dawn. Later that morning a square shaped sail appeared on the horizon chases their father to the shore and he runs screaming up the steps. He orders the children and Voe to remain on top and for them to light the signal fire. The ship beaches and off hop a large number of Obwez and an Obwezic. Your father charges back down the stairs carrying two swords. Voe mans the defense at the top while trying to keep the children safe.
Much fighting occurs. Akuma saves the lives of both his mother and rusty in a surprisingly effective way. Simon and the other take down three of the Obwez left standing. Meanwhile father and the Obwezic fight to the death. The other children help with spells and weapons, until finally Simon incinerates the wounded Obwezic. During the fight Both Xentia and Frezuli behave oddly and cause strange things to happen.
Father falls and in his last moment stabs the Obwezic in the chest. Seeing more ships on the horizon, the kids load their parents on the back of a wagon and flee south. Leaving a signal fire burning in their wake.
After fleeing for a few days they start to encounter more refugees. Voe wakes, but Solmeg is badly injured and appears poisoned.
Eventually they reach a mighty city called Suofook. They meet their uncle and his army and Solmeg is cured. Solmeg asks Voe to take all of you to the south so you might escape the coming war and start your time in the academy.
She agrees. And you head south. On the way you visit your grandmother for some mystic cookies. And then you take a nap near the Loastwid forest. After which you wake up with some completely forgettable necklaces. Nothing to see there. Ken
After a long journey through many marvelous cities, towns and different landscapes, you arrive at the majestic city of Iix.
There you study in your chosen fields while the war rages on in the north. Upon graduating, you all volunteer to join the Iixian coalition and help in the fight against Umbral Bound Legion.
Rusty touches a book with his penis and is rewarded. The rest of you fucks can only fantasize about how good it was.
